If you are over 60 and live in or around Leeds then LeedsCard 60 is your way to get more from the city.
LeedsCard 60 gets you discounted entry into all the Leeds City Council visitor attractions such as Tropical World, Lotherton Hall, Temple Newsam, Home Farm and several more. You can also claim discounts for selected performances and concerts at The Carriageworks - Leeds’ newest theatre, and the Town Hall.
You can also get discounts at Leeds City Council leisure centres as well as discounted rates on weekday pay and play at Leeds City Council golf courses.
You can also get discounts at many other visitor attractions, theatres, shops and restaurants around Leeds. To view a full list click on the download on the right hand side of this page.
You will also receive the LeedsCard magazine once you have joined. Everything you need to know about how, when and where to use your card, delivered direct to your door three times each year. It’s your chance to keep up to date with all the opportunities on offer, with great one-off deals, behind the scenes visits, competitions and more.
Who can get a LeedsCard 60
Anyone over the age of 60 (proof of age required on application) can apply for a LeedsCard 60. However if you are a resident of Leeds (pay your council tax to Leeds City Council) and in receipt of benefits such as pension credit - or if you hold a Blue Badge or a disabled person's bus pass - you can get a LeedsCard 60 Extra.
The ‘Extra’ card gives you even more discount at Council leisure centres as well as discounted season tickets at Leeds City Council golf courses.
How much does it cost?
LeedsCard 60 and LeedsCard 60 Extra cost £2 and there is no need to renew it each year like the LeedsCard and LeedsCard extra (if this changes you will be notified in advance).
How to apply for a card
Download an application form from this page (go to downloads on the right) and hand it in at any Leeds City Council leisure centre or a main Leeds library. You will need to supply a recent passport photograph and proof of age. If you are applying for a LeedsCard 60 Extra you will also supply proof of your benefit and proof of address.
Or you can visit the LeedsCard office at The One Stop Centre, 2 Great George Street in the centre of Leeds where you can have your photo taken for your card free of charge. The opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4pm and Friday 9.30am to 4pm.
