If you are interested in working as a lifeguard, are a qualified swim teacher or coach or are interested in becoming a Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor we offer a range of nationally recognised qualifications.
The Leeds lifesaving team currently offer the following short courses that are delivered at council leisure centres across the city
RLSS – Royal Life Saving Society, IQL - Institute of Qualified Lifeguards

RLSS/IQL National Pool Lifeguard Qualification - combined Unit 1 and 2.

National Rescue Award for swimming teachers and coaches

RLSS Trainer Assessor Lifeguard / Lifesaving

RLSS Bronze Medallion - exclusive course open to all schools that contributes 25% towards GCSE PE.
