Our gyms have a range of cardiovascular and resistance Life Fitness equipment, a selection of free weights as well as core training zones. The gyms vary in size from site to site ranging from 17 stations up to 150 stations. A summary of which leisure centres have gyms and their size is available to download as a pdf from this page.
Gym inductions
Before you can start using the gyms you will need to have an induction with one of our instructors. This will include a demonstration of both the cardio and resistance equipment and a personal fitness programme created for you based on your fitness goals. Inductions are practical so you will need to wear appropriate clothing and footwear to use the equipment. Adult inductions cost from £9* per person and juniors £6.10*.
At the end of your induction you will receive a Bodyline towel and water bottle for use in the gym. You will also be given an induction card that you need to present to the receptionist each time you visit.
Inductions can be booked by calling the centre reception where you want to have your induction. Please download and complete the PARQ form from this page and bring it with you to your induction. Once you have had an induction you can use any of our gyms.
