The stunning museum presents lively and informative displays from the impressive collections of objects and art works owned and cared for by Leeds Museums and Galleries.

All activities and admission to the museum are free - though there may be an entrance fee for temporary exhibitions.

The Life on Earth gallery is dedicated to natural history and features the much loved Leeds tiger that was once on display at Leeds Central Library. Ancient Worlds gallery includes the Leeds Mummy 'Nessy. The World View gallery opened with an exhibition showcasing Africa and of course, The Leeds Story gallery which looks at Leeds from pre-historic times to the modern day.

Monday - closed, except on bank holidays
Tuesday - 10am to 5pm
Wednesday - 10am to 5pm
Thursday - 10am to 7pm
Friday - 10am to 5pm
Saturday - 11am to 5pm
Sunday - 11am to 5pm
