The Housing Act 2004 requires every local authority to establish and maintain a public register of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) licensed under the act. The full register can be viewed by contacting the HMO Licensing Team.
A quicker way of finding out about a property would be to click on the public register download on this screen. This contains all the live licences issued by the council. It does not contain details of licence applications received and being processed.
Landlords of properties issued with HMO licences are required to display a copy of their licence in a prominent position in the licensed premises.
