There is a wide range of services run by different organisations that help people with all kinds of mental health problems across Leeds. Read about these services below.
Services include:
- Social workers who can give support and advice.
- Mental health housing support workers who support people who want to live independently. They can also support people who have both a learning disability and mental health needs.
- Day centres for people with mental health difficulties.
- Accommodation with support, for people with mental health difficulties.
- Respite care - flexible short breaks for between 1 night and two weeks can be arranged for people with mental health problems.

- St Annes Day Centre 66, York Street Leeds LS9 8AA Telephone: 0113 243 1894 Drop in centre for homeless people. Sun-Fri 8.30am to 5pm, Thurs 8.30am to 3.45pm.
- Mental Health Advisory Group The Crisis Centre 3 Spring Road, Leeds LS6 1AD Tel: 0113 275 5898 10am to 10.30pm Referral by self or professional. Counselling and support centre for people who are finding it difficult to cope at a stressful time in their lives. Short term help, usually no more than 8 weeks. Open every day of the year.
