Short breaks from caring is something that many carers value most, and without which they could not be able to carry on providing caring support. A trained carer will either visit for a few hours or goes out with the cared for person, to give you some time to yourself. The services are very flexible, offering from one up to eight hours of care per week and can be for:
- Part of the day
- An occasional whole day
- On a one-off basis
- For a whole night in more demanding care situations
