There are a number of specialist services for carers looking after someone with mental health issue, that cater for the black or minority ethnic community.

Together, North Leeds Respite Service  offers support to people with mental health needs, especially dementia, tel 0113 242 7707, Unit 26, Unity Property Service, 26 Roundhay Road, LS7 1AB

DOSTI  Asian Women's Support Service, drop in service, therapeutic activities programme, and counselling, advocacy, housing, welfare benefits issues, service users forum and a case management, tel 0113 203 8893, Stocks Hill Day Centre, Chapel Lane, Armley, LS12 2DJ
