There are a number of centres in Leeds that provide culturally sensitive daytime activities for elderly people who come from minority ethnic communities including the following. 

Frederick Hurdle Day Centre used by African and Caribbean communities and also has a carers’ group. Tel 0113 262 2861, Reginald Terrace, Chapeltown Road, LS7 3EZ

APNA Day Centre used by Asian elders, tel 0113 274 8272, 82 Cardigan Road, LS6 3BJ

Queenshill Day Centre run by the Jewish Welfare Board but not exclusively for Jewish elders. tel 0113 269 2018 , 28 Queenshill Avenue, LS17 6AX
