Community grants for voluntary organisations

West Yorkshire Archive Services

West Yorkshire Grants was established in 1986 to award grants to voluntary (i.e. not-for-profit) organisations operating across West Yorkshire. Funding is available for all types of voluntary activity - arts, sport, recreation, education, environment and social/welfare.

Grants are only made to organisations and not to individuals. Funds are awarded by the Grants to Voluntary Bodies Sub-Committee. Work undertaken by funded organisations includes drama, opera, dance, sports and arts activities for people with disabilities, environmental conservation and adult basic education.
