If someone dies and there are no relatives, friends or provision for a funeral, we will subsidise a basic and simple funeral.
If the person who died has any money or assets this will be used towards funeral expenses.
We can only provide this service if the death took place in the Leeds district and not in a hospital. If the death took place in a hospital arrangements will be made from the hospital.
