Please note that the previous deadline for responses for Parish and Town Councils to bid for grounds maintenance work in their own areas, has been extended for expressions of interest to 12 noon, Monday 13th September 2010.

The Parish and Town Council Charter and Planning Supplement are available for download from the links at the side. Work on a highways supplement is continuing over summer and the final document will be available in the year. New to download are the Parish and Town Council boundary map and the LCC ward/parish boundary map.
Information
There are 31 Parish and Town Councils within the Leeds Metropolitan District. Funds needed to support their activities are raised by adding an extra cost known as a precept to each householder’s council tax bill.
