Garforth Library update
Leeds Library and Information Service has been awarded £1.4 million from the big Lottery Fund to develop an exciting new library and one stop centre for Garforth. The current library building will be extended and redesigned, allowing for the Library, One Stop Centre and Credit Union to be housed under one roof.
From 29th November to 24th December 2008 we will be running a reduced service from the foyer of Garforth library. The library will be closed to the public from 24th December for approximately one year.
From 5th January 2009 there will be a temporary library service running from the One Stop Centre in Garforth.
The opening hours will be as below from 29th November 2008 until the the refurbishment is completed.
10.00 - 19.00 Monday
09.00 - 17.00 Tuesday
09.00 - 13.00 Wednesday
09.00 - 19.00 Thursday
09.00 - 17.00 Friday
09.00 - 16.00 Saturday
