If you can’t always find the time to pop into a library, or you prefer to do your reading digitally, our eBook and eAudio service could be just what you’re looking for.
Library members in Leeds can download a choice of nearly 3000 eBook and eAudio titles to their computers, compatible eReaders and audio devices. The service is free and operates in a similar way to the popular iTunes method of accessing music.
Log-on to the virtual bookshelf on your home computer using your existing membership details and then choose from a wide range of titles. Once a book is chosen it can be easily downloaded to a computer and then transferred to a portable device in a similar way to an iPod.
If you have an iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Blackberry, you can get a free app from the relevant app store, and download eBooks and eAudio straight to your device.
You can borrow up to 4 titles at any one time, for a period of up to 21 days.
