Victim support

Victim Support is an independent UK charity which helps people cope with the effects of crime. They provide free and confidential advice and support to help victims, witnesses and their families.

Victim Support also runs the Witness Service, based in every crown and magistrates' court in England. They provide information about the court process to witnesses, victims and their families before, during and after the trial.

Victim Support has network of local offices across West Yorkshire. Staff and volunteers are trained to provide emotional support and practical help anyone who may have suffered the effects of crime, whether directly or indirectly.
