What is East Leeds Regeneration?
It's the long term, comprehensive regeneration programme for East Leeds, attracting investment to tackle deprivation.
What is the link with the East and South East Leeds Area Action Plan?
Area Action Plans (AAPs) are documents that Planning Officers are required to develop as part of Local Development Frameworks. They are there to make sure enough land will be available for various uses - housing, employment, for example, in the future. The AAP for East and South East Leeds has been withdrawn, although some parts of the East Regeneration Area are covered by the Aire Valley Area Action Plan. Colleagues in Leeds City Council's Development Department can explain in more detail; please contact them on 0113

How does regeneration work in East Leeds?
