Yorkshire and Humber Regional Migration Partnership (YHRMP)

Who are we?
We are a partnership of organisations in Yorkshire and Humberside from the statutory, voluntary, community and private sectors. We used to be called the Yorkshire and Humberside Consortium for Asylum Seekers and Refugees.

What do we do?
We work to ensure that agencies across the region provide appropriate and accessible advice, services and support  for asylum seekers, unsuccessful asylum seekers, new refugees and migrant workers. We do this by providing a regional advisory, development and consultation function in the region. Our activities include:

  • strategic and policy work
  • providing and sharing information
  • encouraging and supporting organisations in the region to work together on issues and projects relating to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants
  • awareness raising: we produce a leaflet ‘Asylum seekers: the facts’ and a bimonthly asylum newsletter
